How does the IELTS exam look like?
The IELTS exam consists of four parts: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. There are two different IELTS modules: Academic and General Training. The speaking and listening tests are the same in both modules, but the reading and writing tests are different.

How many marks do I need to pass the IELTS exam?
You will receive an overall band score and individual band scores for each part of the test: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. The IELTS exam is not about pass/fail scores. Your test results are reported in band scores from 1.0 the lowest, to 9.0 the highest, in half band increments.
