pallaskenry agricultural college
Distance education teacher
Jul 2023 - Jul 2024
I spent a year teaching in an agricultural college, where I worked with students preparing for careers in farming, agri-business, and related sectors. This role gave me valuable experience in delivering practical and theory-based lessons across areas like animal husbandry, crop production, soil science, and farm safety. I focused on making the content accessible and engaging by connecting theory to real-life farming situations. I also supported students with coursework, assignments, and preparation for practical assessments. Working in this setting strengthened my confidence in managing a classroom, adapting lessons for different learning styles, and fostering independent learning in older students.
