What does the IELTS exam involve?
The IELTS exam stands for International English Language Testing System. It is designed to help you work, study or migrate to a country where English is spoken. It is taken by around 3 million people every year and is accepted by over 11,000 employers, universities and immigration services worldwide.
How is the IELTS exam divided up?
There are four sections with ten questions each. The questions are arranged so that the answers appear in the order they appear in the audio.
Parts 1 & 2
Both parts deal with situations that take place in a social context. In part 1 there is a conversation between two speakers, in part 2 there is a monologue.
Part 3 & 4
The last two parts are mainly set in education and training situations. In part 3 there is a conversation between two people who are having a discussion, for example. Part 4 consists of a monologue on an academic subject.
Is the IELTS exam difficult to pass?
The exam assesses your skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in less than 3 hours. It is not difficult in itself, according to the tutors at LinguaProf.

Supporting information Hi Guys, I have been trying to get serious about contributing back to the community since 2018. In the intervening years along with relentlessly applying for healthcare assistant(HCA) positions all over The United Kingdom to rejections without feedback over and over, I have passed not only a Nursing Diploma with a Merit but also almost the first year of an Adult Nursing BSc degree at Middlesex University before being withdrawn by WOKE educators who should have known better because I was reinstated again no less than 2 years later by other educators after appealing the blatant injustice. I had to reject their offer of starting the course again after wasting two years in my late forties. From above, I do not see a way into HCA work through the traditional academic route when educators are constantly trying to derail my learning inadvertantly racking up debts for the Student Loans Company (SLC) to chase after me being withdrawn a few months before the end of the first year, irritatingly changing the agreement of paying back the debt after a £27,500 threshold has been reached. This is a very nasty affair as I am constantly called every 60 days for the money loaned in the last quarter. I believe that this was done deliberately to avoid offering an end of year certificate and to immediately start the debt process. I cannot understand how a group of educators can get away with destroying my education, a Human Right, over WOKE without being terminated for abusing their powers but no, all of them have prospered, earned more with even some getting significant promotions including professorships. Rewarding psychotic personality types is a new disturbing thing now, it is just bizarre, like a living nightmare. I can do the job being very capable and would be a very credible asset to any hospital. If I cannot get a career to get on in The United Kingdom I will have no choice but to leave. Six years and still knocking while 21 year olds just float into the system with zero experience because they are young, green and academically guaranteed a protected degree.
