Irish tutor
Oct 2021 - present
Tutoring Irish at a Junior Cycle level through gauging the students level and understanding, and planning lessons and material tailored to their needs. As is important for any language, I encourage an active interest in Irish outside of the classroom, as a living, breathing language. Through working with a student, assessing their needs and being invested in their progress I instil confidence in their use of Irish, while preparing them for the Junior Cycle exam.

UCD student and native French speaker offers French lessons for all levels
Rafael N.
Native French speaker and current International Relations student at UCD (4-year degree), I bring both academic rigor and genuine passion to every French lesson.
I graduated top of my class in the French Baccalauréat (highest honors, 16.29/20), with a strong background in argumentation, essay writing, and public speaking — including several competitive public speaking competitions. This means I don't just speak French fluently, I know how to explain it clearly, structure ideas, and help students express themselves with confidence.
I've already tutored students in French, and having gone through the French school system myself only recently, I understand exactly what today's students need — the common difficulties, the exam expectations, and how to make grammar feel less like a chore and more like a skill they can actually use.
Beyond teaching, I'm a passionate reader and writer, with a particular love for poetry — something I enjoy bringing into lessons to make language learning richer and more engaging, not just about rules and vocabulary lists.
I'm patient, adaptable, and focused on building each child's confidence step by step. I'm also happy to travel to meet students in person.
