University Paris 8
Master in Dance
Sep 2023 - present
My Master's degree in Dance at Paris 8 University has shaped me into a dynamic, creative, and adaptable teacher. Dance, like language, is a form of expression that requires patience, discipline, and structured learning—all essential qualities I bring into my French lessons. Through my studies, I have developed strong pedagogical skills, including the ability to break down complex concepts into accessible steps, an approach that translates seamlessly into language teaching. My experience working with diverse learners, including individuals with disabilities and international students, has also enhanced my ability to adapt my teaching methods to different learning styles. Additionally, dance has taught me the importance of body language, rhythm, and cultural storytelling, which I incorporate into my language lessons to make learning more engaging and interactive. Just as movement helps in memorizing choreography, I encourage active learning techniques such as role-playing, conversation practice, and immersive activities to reinforce language acquisition. Overall, my background in dance education allows me to create a dynamic, student-centered learning environment, making French learning both structured and enjoyable.
